Walz Label & Mailing Systems
Walz Label & Mailing Systems
A family-owned business automation company operating in Central Illinois since 1966, working across three divisions: mailing, labeling, and warehouse automation.
- Built with
- ColdFusion

The site is a large structured product catalog rather than a brochure. Equipment is organized by division: document handling and mailing systems, barcode scanners, mobile computers, printers, RFID readers and wireless LAN, and shipping and warehouse automation, alongside a service section covering on-site support, leasing, financial services, government accounts, and installation and training. It also carries company news, including USPS rate changes, and downloadable resources such as service flyers, rate sheets, and tax forms.
Built in ColdFusion and driven end to end by a custom content management system miTech developed, the same platform behind several of the sites on this page. Nothing here is hard-coded: pages, catalog, and announcements are all maintained through the CMS.
The problem
[PLACEHOLDER] What was not working for Walz Label & Mailing Systems before this project.
[PLACEHOLDER] Replace with the situation as the client described it: what the business was doing manually, what it could not see, or what the previous system stopped them doing. One or two paragraphs. No invented numbers.
What we built
[PLACEHOLDER] What miTech built for Walz Label & Mailing Systems, and why that shape.
[PLACEHOLDER] Replace with the decisions that mattered, not a feature list. The feature list is already on the product pages; what belongs here is why this system was built the way it was for this business.
What changed
[PLACEHOLDER] What changed for Walz Label & Mailing Systems afterwards.
[PLACEHOLDER] Replace with outcomes the client would confirm on a call. Anything that cannot be confirmed should be left out rather than softened, and a project with no measurable outcome is better told as what it enabled.
