How we think about the work
Hello, welcome to miTech.
We build products, so we know what shipping costs
miKey and RV Tech Pro are ours. We carry their support load, their upgrades, and their mistakes, which is a different relationship with software than specifying someone else’s and moving on.
The network and the software are one system
Most providers stop at the boundary between infrastructure and the applications running on it. We specify both, so a problem at that boundary does not turn into two vendors pointing at each other.
Software should fit the operation, not the reverse
The businesses we work with already have a way of doing things that works. The job is to remove the spreadsheet and the retyping, not to make the staff adapt to a product’s assumptions.
We stay after it ships
The team that designed and built a system is the team that supports it. Long-running client systems are the point, not one-off projects handed over and forgotten.
On the ground
Local means someone can come out.
Cabling, cameras, door access, and server work cannot be done remotely, and a network problem is much easier to diagnose standing in the building. We cover the Upstate in person, and support the software we build wherever it runs.
Long-term support
Several of the systems on our work page have been running and maintained for years. That is the relationship we are set up for, not a project that ends at handover.
The Team
Real People. Real Contact.
Adam McCall
Founder & Technology Architect
Adam McCall has had a passion for computers and electronics since he was a kid. In 2008, he turned that interest into miTech, starting out by helping residential customers with their technology needs. Over the years, miTech grew along with Adam’s experience. What began as a small IT business has expanded into custom web and application development, managed IT services, infrastructure, security, and software development. Adam also develops miTech’s own SaaS products and business applications. That gives him experience on both sides of technology — building the software businesses use and supporting the systems that keep it running. After more than 18 years, Adam is still hands-on with the work. He enjoys solving problems, building useful technology, and finding better ways to help businesses operate.
