Privacy Policy

This policy explains what miTech collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

The short version

We collect what you type into our contact form so that we can answer you. We do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

This policy was last updated on July 28, 2026.

What we collect

When you submit an inquiry through this website, we store the information you enter: your name, email address, phone number, company, and the message you write. We also record which inquiry path you selected, so your message reaches the right person.

Alongside that, we store a small amount of technical context with each inquiry: the page you submitted from, the site that referred you if there was one, your browser user agent, and a one-way hash of your IP address. The hash lets us detect automated abuse of the form without keeping a record of your actual address.

We also store the exact wording of the consent text you agreed to at the time you submitted, so there is a record of what you were actually shown.

We do not collect payment details through this website.

How we use it

We use what you send us to reply to your inquiry, to understand what you need, and to carry on that conversation. If you become a client, the same contact details are used to deliver and support the work.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not send marketing email to people who only submitted an inquiry.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

We use a small number of service providers to operate this site and our email, and your information may pass through them in the ordinary course of that. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We will disclose information if the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our clients, or the security of our systems.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not use advertising cookies, and it does not run third party analytics.

If you choose a light or dark theme, that preference is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site does not flash the wrong theme the next time you visit. It never leaves your browser.

Staff who sign in to the content editor receive session cookies. These are set only after signing in, are marked so that scripts cannot read them, and are removed when signing out. They are not set for ordinary visitors.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as they are useful for the conversation they started and for our own business records. When an inquiry is no longer needed, it is deleted.

You can ask us to delete your inquiry sooner, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Get in touch through the contact page and tell us what you would like done.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. We apply the requests above regardless of where you are.

How it is protected

Inquiries are stored on systems we operate, reachable only by people who need access to answer them. Access to the underlying content system is limited by role, and administrative access is separate from the access the website itself uses.

No system is perfectly secure. If something happens that affects your information, we will tell you.

Children

This website is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes, and how to reach us

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
